Cold Weather This sly comedy centers on a bunch of Portland slackers who find themselves drawn into what may--or may not--be a mystery. It has amusing characters and clever situations set against a very everyday backdrop, making everything all the funnier.

Tolerable Films of 2010 Nothing in 2010 really blew me away, but here's a collection of quite-good movies that do not waste your time. A surprising theme of varied looks at mother-child relationships emerges in six out of the ten selections.
